Getting it running

Install steps, what to check when a host will not see the plug-in, and the terms you buy under.

Buying

How to buy

Accounts are invite only at the moment. If you want in, send an email and you will get an invoice and a licence key straight back.

hello@dillanstephensonaudio.co.uk

Already have a key? Create an account and add it there.

  1. Pay once per plug-in, no subscription.
  2. A licence key comes back to you.
  3. Make an account and put the key in.
  4. The download unlocks and stays there.

Installing

Windows, VST3

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Copy the whole .vst3 folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Windows will ask for administrator permission.
  3. Start your DAW and rescan your plug-ins.
  4. Load it on an instrument track and play something low.

If it does not show up

Things to check

  • The host has to be 64 bit. A 32 bit host will not see it.
  • Instruments and effects live in different lists in some hosts. Check both.
  • Check the folder was copied whole. The .vst3 is a folder, not a single file.
  • Some hosts scan custom VST3 folders only. Add the path above and rescan.
  • A rescan sometimes needs a full restart of the host to take.

Contact

Ask a question

Bug reports, presets that misbehave, invoices, anything else. It is a one person operation, so replies come from a person rather than a ticket queue.

hello@dillanstephensonaudio.co.uk

When reporting a bug, say which host, which version of Windows and what you did just before it happened.

Licence

What you are buying

A licence to use the plug-in, not the plug-in itself. One key, one plug-in. In plain terms:

  • Use it on the computers you work on, at home or in a studio.
  • Music you make with it is yours. No royalties, no credit needed, commercial releases included.
  • Do not pass on, resell or share the installer, and do not try to work around the licence.
  • The licence is yours and stays with you rather than transferring with a sale.
  • The software is provided as it is, with no warranty. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Downloads are digital goods, so the usual right to change your mind after download does not apply. If it will not run for you, get in touch and it will be sorted out.
